I think this is yours
June's pov
We stepped outside and
Roxy turned to to face me.
“So…Was he a good f**k?” she asked again.
"Roxy...” My cheeks instantly heated, as I looked around hoping no one heard her. I should have known she wouldn't drop the topic. I stopped walking, turning to her.
She raised a brow. “Yes...Well?”
I swallowed hard, my mind taking me back to his groin inside me. The memory alone made my skin heat all over again.
“Uh…” I stammered, looking anywhere but her. “He’s… .”
Her grin widened. “Yeah he's...?”
I rolled my eyes and tried to hide my face.
“Well...someone I’ll not forget soon.”
Roxy chuckled, clearly enjoying how flustered I was, as we walked toward a Black Matte Porsche 911.
“So…” I said after a moment trying to change the topic, while glancing sideways at her, “you’re… you know, like gay?”
With a sly smile, Roxy unlocked the passenger side door. “Bisexual, actually. I enjoy both. Why limit yourself, right?” she said casually, then leaned close that her breath brushed my ear, making me shiver. “You should try it sometime, you know.”
I blinked from shock, stepping back a little, feeling my cheeks heat up. “Uh, no thanks,” I said quickly. “I…I think I’ll pass.”
Roxy straightened and chuckled quietly “Suit yourself.”
“Soo…” I tried to change the subject. “Doesn’t he like…mind? You know, you being… like that?”
She laughed, tossing her blue black hair over her shoulder “He doesn’t mind much of anything.”
I opened my mouth to respond, but she added with a teasing grin, “He probably won’t even mind that you caught him f*****g me.”
My cheeks flamed. “Oh…my ,” I muttered, looking anywhere but her. Strangely remembering his ass made my inner thighs heat up for some odd reasons.
Roxy laughed again. “Relax, June. No hard feelings.”
“Yeah… sorry about that. Wasn’t trying to be weird or anything.” I said quietly, wishing the ground would just swallow me. Of course I was a freak and that was totally weird to be staring at your soon to be brother’s ass and wanting him to f**k you.
She smiled cutely but her phone rang. She pulled it out from her pocket glancing at the screen. Her face turned instantly sad before they vanished just as it came.
Hanging up, she turned to me with a small pout. “Sorry, sweetie. I’ve gotta run…something came up…Family emergency.”
Then she waved a hand, calling out to a tall guy leaning against a nearby car.
A gasp left my lips, I hadn't been joking when I said Briarwood Hills was packed with beautiful and muscling men. “Hey, Nacho! Drive this cutie back to the Harts’ place for me, will you?”
The guy nodded, heading over, with tattoos crawling up his arm.
Roxy tossed him the keys, then turned to me “See you another time. I’ve gotta run.”
“Thanks.”
“Anytime.” Then she was off, strutting toward a black SUV I hadn't seen waiting by the corner.
Nacho turned to look at me with a smile.
“Hi?”
“Hi....nice... big...tattoos you've got." I suddenly said out of no where from nervousness.
He chuckled, slowly and heat immediately rushed straight to my face. Great. Now he knew I’d been checking him out.
What was wrong with me?
"You June right."
"Yeah..yes." I said quietly wondering how he knew my name.
“Cool,” he said, motioning for me to get into the car “l’ll take you home.”
Then he got into the drivers sit and started the engine, pulling away from the club.
He drove silently while some old rock songs played on the radio. I stared out the window, but heard his voice break the silence beside me.
“So, you’re friends with Roxy...and Adrien?”
I glanced over at him, Adrien’s name suddenly drawing my attention. “Uh, not really, we just kinda… met.
But Roxy seems like a really nice person.”
He suddenly chuckled amused, "Roxy’s not as nice as she looks. She likes to play games… really dirty one, and Adrien? I wouldn’t advice being so much around him.”
I raised a brow confused. “Ratting them out, huh?”
He smirked at that, his eyes still on the road before they turned to meet mine. “Not excertly, Just saying…be careful around them, that’s all. I’ve known Roxy for a long time. She’s trouble when she wants to be.
I looked down at my hands, fidgeting with my fingers. "And... Adrien?"
He turn to face me. “Adrien?...He’s...got a bit lot of bad s**t going on.”
With that he didn’t say another word and focused back on the road, while I returned to staring out the window until the car finally pulled up in front of Hart's gate.
I turned to him, offering a smile. “Thanks… for the ride.”
He nodded, returning the smile. "Happy to help.”
I stepped out, watching as he drove off, then I turned toward the gate, sighing.
I walked past the front door after getting past the surprised eyes of Mr. Blackwood’s chauffeur making my way up the stairs when I heard the sound of my name.
I froze halfway up wincing as I slowly turned around to see Mom standing in her robe, her arms crossed, with a cup of coffee and one of her looks that said I was in trouble.
"Care to tell me where u sneaked off to in the early hours of the morning?”
I signed. “Well...i...."
"Unmm..." She indicated for me to continue.
"Was...you see....out with a new friend and… kinda....lost track of time,” I murmured, not meeting her eyes and skipping the part where I was wildly f****d by a stranger.
"Goodness June. We just moved here. You don’t know anyone yet. You can’t just disappear for the whole night like that.”
“yeah...,” I said quietly. “I know...I’m sorry… it's...just...that..I needed air and...she was nice and all...”
Her expression softened and she walked up the stairs to where I stood, taking my hand gently before pressing her forehead against mine, a move she always did when she was too worried to stay mad.
“I like that you’re trying to make new friends,” she said softly, “but after what happened with Hannah… don’t you think it's wise to lay low for a while?”
“Yeah...yeah.. I will. I’ll lay low. Promise mom.”
She smiled gladly, then reached into her robe pocket and took out an object. My eyes widened when I realised it was my old phone.
“I think this is yours,” she said softly. “Hannah’s mom gave it to me some weeks back. She said she found it while cleaning.”
I stared at it, my chest tightening a little.
That dumb phone. The day I walked in on Hannah and Karl, I had left it. I never returned for it.
“Thanks.” I murmured, taking it gently out of her hand.
Mom squeezed my hand. “You don’t have to use it, you know. I can get you a new one if you’d rather not keep this.”
I gave a quick shake of my head. “No, it’s fine. I'll use this, I'm used to it already.”
“All right sweetie. Come down for breakfast after cleaning up. And no… sneaking out again?”
“Got it,”
She kissed my cheek and turned toward the kitchen. I sighed, running my thumb over the phone’s cracked case before heading up the stairs to my room.
The battery was most likely dead because the screen was dark.
I pressed the power button but it didn't come up, when I tried it again someone brushed past me so fast on the stairs that I lost my balance.
“Ow…” I muttered, stumbling back as the phone fell out from my hand with a loud crack.
