I took a step toward her, desperate for answers. "The child? What do you mean? Kara... Kaden... What are they hiding?"
She sighed, her eyes flickering with something I couldn’t quite place. "They are not hiding, Zara. They are preparing for what is to come. And you... You are the key to everything."
