11 PT 2 Manipulative Bit*h Trish POV

602 Words
My skin is literally on fire right now. The look of rage on Meagan’s face is quickly replaced by fear. Mia is way happier than could possibly healthy at that realization. She has been showing me flashes of a million different types of gruesome deaths for her in my mind. So apparently Mia has a darker side that I have never seen before. I didn’t even realize while all this was going on Chris and I had started to advance further into the room. Meagan runs towards us but I have absolutely no fear for her so I just stay in my spot standing next to Chris still holding his hand. So she just slips past us on my right without a word and goes straight out the front door. That manipulative bit*h will get what’s coming to her because my actual fated will NEVER be her chosen. Any form of peace we may have created with each other is long gone. This girl is just like every other “mean girl” I’ve dealt with In life and I can tell you one thing, Mia and I don’t deal well with bullies! That’s the reason the last six months of high school before graduation were so hard. Anyway, crisis’ averted for now. Chris turns to look over his shoulder and then back at me saying “I wonder what that was about. Meagan’s always strange but I don’t think in all the time I’ve know her I’ve ever seen her speechless.” At that I lost all composure and cracked up laughing. Then a guy who I can only assume is Logan cane walking in. He was you’re typical surfer looking guy. Shoulder length blonde hair, tan, lean and muscular. He’s definitely good looking guy but doesn’t even compare to the best looking man in the world who’s fingers are still entwined with mien. “So, i see Meagan just left.” He said as he looked down at Chris and I’s hands. He then smirked and said “Never mind, do'nt even worry about that and who do we have here?” “This is Trish. She’s a friend I met this morning at the cafe during my shift and she’s new in town.” Chris answered. “Lovely to meet you Trish. Any girl who unintentionally or not runs off Meagan the first time I meet her in my book is a keeper. Don’t get me wrong, I try to look out for her since we grew up together and everything. But you can only walk around like you own the world for so before it comes back to slap you in the face.” He said as he thrust his hand In my direction. I shook his hand and unsure of myself for the first time in a long time I timidly say “I’m not sure what exactly that all means but thanks I guess.” Mia tells me in my mind not to let that good for nothing you know what to spoil this time with our fated. So I’m gonna do my best to enjoy what’s left of the evening with him. Logan leads us to the kitchen after a quick tour of his apartment and decides he will make us all dinner. It was quite comical when he drug Chris in on the shenanigans that he called making dinner. It was a lot of fun watching them attempt to cook even if in the end they were unsuccessful and called for Chinese takeout (apparently the only place in this small town that delivers food).
