Aftermath

Alex Miller  I cried and cried after Diana left, but Elena was there with me, comforting me. I even kissed Elena to spite Diana. She was the one who showed me the true colors of my ex-wife, the love of my life. Ha.  I was drinking my sorrows away when I saw Justin enter the mansion, which was once my home until she left or should I say I threw her out. He was saying something while punching me but my drunk self, neither could comprehend a word of what he was saying nor could give a damn. Let’s just say he wouldn’t have stopped before beating me to death, if Elena hadn’t stopped him, which I was grateful for. I buried myself in work and alcohol. My family, consisting of my mom, my dad and my little sisters, were worried for me. My mom, who used to love Diana like her own daughter, now hated her, for making me like this. My dad never said anything about her, I guess he still couldn’t believe Diana would do something like that or he still believes her. My sisters still loved her and so did my other best friend, Luke. After eleven whole months I started sleeping with Elena, she became my friend with benefits. But she made everyone think I was dating her by coming to many event and parties with me. Two years later, after my divorce, she officially became my girlfriend. I was pressurized into it. If I didn’t make her my girlfriend, her dad would take away the share he invested in my company and he knew my company would crumble down without it as Diana’s dad and brother have already taken back their shares, which was quiet a large amount. After two more years, four years after my divorce I proposed her to marry me, as my mom wished to have grandchildren. She let out a deafening squeal when she saw the ring and obviously, accepted. But I couldn’t say I loved her, because my heart still belonged to Diana, I’ve only ever loved Diana, only her.
