"Dad! Mom! What are you doing here again?!" I exclaimed when I saw my parents in my unit again.
"We've been calling you several times. Your intimate engagement party will be on the other day. We'll meet our gown designers tomorrow so you’ll not have to go to work.” Mom calmly said like their decision is like a normal elite party that we need to attend to.
But, no! It’s my freaking engagement party! I never agreed with this one!
“Where have you been? Why weren’t you answering our calls?” Dad was intrigued.
The happiness that filled within me just vanished. I am happy and excited, but this stupid news just killed my moment and my sanity.
