Khione is still in a state of shock. I'm now sitting in front of her and we're supposed to talk about the contract but she keeps spacing out. She's still in disbelief because she knows how badly I stick with my own principle but look, I just agreed to her.
"W-What made you agree with t-this?" She cannot stare long in my eyes.
Staring at her face, I'm confident that she didn't guilt-trip me. I guess, embarrassment is just a natural emotion to a woman like her who was rejected on her proposal for a marriage. though it's just a contract marriage but it's still marriage especially if she proposed it to someone she thought won't reject her..
