CHAPTER 10 – A NEW BEGINNING?
When he woke up, he had no idea how much time had passed and, checking his watch, he was surprised that he had slept for more than twenty-four hours. Next to him, Jenny and Godzilla were still sleeping. The girl was smiling in her sleep. It was the first time he had seen her do it. He stood there, looking at her for a while as if he were seeing her for the first time, then he made his way through the feathers to take a look. They were no longer on the sea. Looking carefully, he identified a mountain with an unmistakable profile that made him shout with joy “We are there!”
Although still sleepy, his two companions were immediately at his side.
He pointed his finger “Look! The crooked mountain!”
