38. ALINA
After my conversation with Agatha about being able to stay at Breaconrae whilst working for accommodation, I felt much more at ease. I didn’t suddenly need to magic up money to pay her and I didn’t need to feel guilty for being here. Thankfully, our agreement also included my food, so I didn’t need to worry about that either. I thought I might make one last trip into town to take out some cash and then I’m going to cut up Owens bank card. I will need to get a job eventually to earn some money, but for now I have everything I need. I have a roof over my head, food to eat and people around me. Good people. I breathed in a lung full of the fresh Scottish air and smiled. I knew I was going to be OK.
