26. ALINA
I arrived in the highlands a couple of days ago. I came here once before as a child and was enchanted by the majestic mountain ranges, mist-covered lochs and ancient forests. I wasn’t sure why I came here now. I felt like I just wanted to curl up in a ball somewhere quiet until everything stopped.
When I arrived at Breconrae Estate, I handed some money over to the first person I saw and pointed at the sign which said they had rooms available.
