43. ALINA. After folding and putting away my clothes and placing my toiletries in the bathroom, I decided to go for a swim. It was later than usual, but I'd already been working this morning and Agatha wouldn’t mind. I saw Fraiser and Margot walk off towards the East leading away from the house and up into the valley. It was a pretty trail with flowers carpeting the ground, nice and romantic, I thought, with a small amount of bitterness, but I was going the other way towards the river where I liked to swim. I took a towel with me and walked down at a leisurely pace enjoying the sounds of nature and being present in the moment. I tried to isolate each sound I could hear.
