16. OWEN The day Lin left I was in shock. We hadnt spent a day apart in years. Suddenly having her ripped away from me when I wasnt ready was like having a rug whipped out from under me. I found a quiet moment in the toilet and text her. I wrote and rewrote the message so many times that Callie came to check I was still alright. I settled for 'Lin - let me know you're safe.'
