23. ALINA Peter left for work and I legged it upstairs to dress for meeting Owen. I didn’t want to look like I’d made too much of an effort, but I wanted to look nice. If it all goes wrong at least I can walk away with my head held high, feeling beautiful. I settled on some light make up, fresh blow-dried hair, my new tight jeans that made my bum look nice and a fitted top showing just a hint of cleavage. Nerves ate at me the whole time as I travelled into town and waited by the large iron gates at the entrance to the park. I was a little early, but it felt like I was waiting forever.
