“Stop!“ She grabbed his face with trembling fingers. “Please, don't throw yourself away so easily. It hurts me when you do this bollocks.“
“Bird.“ His sad eyes met her own and she could see him wavering. “He doesn't seem like he's into blokes.“
“And I'm not into cocky, overbearing Alpha arseholes, but there you go.“
“Alright.“ He laughed. “Fine, you win this time.“
“You mean again?“ She said cheekily.
“f**k off.“ He scoffed, giving her a light shove.
At the glint in her eye, both siblings stuffed the cigarettes between their lips and crouched into sparring positions. The Teresi nrothers had been in warrior training since they were pups. Nicole had begun her training after her mother's death. She had more than made up for her late start and gender with her commitment to catch up to her brothers. Soon they were the only wolves that could defeat her.
“Pause!“ Rasmus called drinking from the bottle then handing it over for her to do the same. When they'd both gulped some of the vodka, he capped it and set it out of the way.
“Go!“ She shouted, replacing her smoke and swept his legs out from under him.
Rasmus rolled to the balls of his feet to avoid her punch to the stomach and finger-jabbed her liver. She retaliated with a fist to his jaw and barely grazed him when he dodged. They charged, barreling into each other and leaping apart as they went over the edge of the roof.
“The f**k is this, then?“ Fane Andros' voice demanded.
Nicole instantly jumped on her brother's back and put him into a headlock. She whispered reassurances in his ear until the growling in his chest eased. Rasmus had let his guard down, having a laugh with her and was now on the defensive. She saw the change in his expression and body language, able to stop him from attacking the outsider.
“I'm fine.“ Her brother growled, shaking her from him, snatching his cigarette from the ground, and jumping to the roof to grab his bottle.
The Lykos and his Guard watched from the threshold of the double doors that lead to the back terrace. Sethos grinned, Cole was trying to gauge the situation, and she wouldnt even look at Andros. She scowled at the lot of them for ruining their fun as she bent to grab her smoke. Rasmus struggled with feeling out of control and having high-ranking Lykos see him that way would send him over the edge.
“Alright then?“ Andros asked.
“Peachy f*****g keen.“ She spat, shouldering through them.
“Oi!“ He grabbed her arm and her body hummed at the contact. “Can I have a moment with my Mate?“
The other two looked to each other and nodded.
“Nice headlock, Nicole.“ Sethos smiled and walked off.
“Good form on the landing.“ Cole added with a pat to he shoulder and followed suit.
“Come on.“ He pulled her to the treeline and plucked the butt from her fingers, stealing a drag.
“Yes?“ Her bit of patience that remained was quickly evaporating.
“I want you to stay at Alpha House with me.“
She snorted and turned to leave.
“Nicola-”
“Do not call me that!“
He raised his hands as if to surrender, then hauled her against him. She expected him to try to kiss her. Worse, he framed her face with his large hands and gazed into her eyes. A kaleidoscope of emotions burst from the intensity of their stare. Sabine pranced and preened for her Mate, chanting the word like a mantra.
Bad wolf, Nicole scolded.
“I was approached by one of my warriors about Rasmus.“ He informed her, stroking a thumb along the curve of her cheek.
His words and actions caught her off guard. “About what, exactly?“
“He's his Mate.“ Andros studied her features, waiting for a reaction and smiling when she gave none, “You knew.“
“Is he going to reject my brother?“ His face swam with tears as she tried to keep her voice steady.
“No, princess.“ He wrapped her in his arms and kissed the top of her head, “He was worried about Rasmus rejecting him.“
“As to that I'm not sure…” She didn't know why she told him that. The comfort of his embrace muddled her senses, “I think I've convinced him not to.“
“Good.“ Was all he said, rubbing her back in small circles, “He wants an introduction and I said I'd speak with you.“
“Who is it?“
“Walker Lirov.“
She knew the wolf, great fighter. Tall, broad, and rugged. He would do well for Rasmus and she smiled softly at the thought.
“I wish that smile was for me.“ He confessed in a hushed tone and it dropped from her face. He exhaled in frustration, arms tightening on her.
In the twilight of the day, with the smell of the woods nearby, Nicole pressed her nose to his shirt. She hated this sodding bond. Hated that he could calm her with a simple touch. Hated how weak she was for him. Tears leaked from her eyes, for herself, for her brother. For all the wolves that had to go through the trials and tribulations of approaching or accepting a Mate from an opposing pack.
“Walker is a good guy. I hope your brother does right by him.“ His voice rumbled against her cheek.
“He will.“ She tilted her head to look at him. “I'll talk to him some more.“
“Thank you, beautiful.“
And just like that the spell was broken and she ran all the way to her room.

Hours later, Fane was drowning in his sleep.
He flopped onto the edge of the area rug under his king four poster. He howled in challenge as he jumped to his feet. His Alchemy shimmering around him.
“Oh, cheers, you're awake.“ Miller stood over him holding an empty water pitcher, “Come. Now.“
“ 'ts all this then?“ Cole stood half asleep in the doorway.
“Puts on some clothes, pip pip.“ Alexiou said throwing his joggers and a shirt at him.
“What the f**k-”Fane was going to kill the Letos if this was a prank.
“It's Nicole, now bloody move!“ Something in Miller's expression had Fane’s heart thundering.
“Why the f*****g hell are you both here?“ The two Leto Guards understood the implied, and not with her.
“You'll see.“ Alexiou said ominously.
Cole made up the rear of the group storming Blue House. Other wolves were standing outside of their rooms, gossiping. The Leto Guard led the way to the right at the top of the staircase and stopped at the last door.
Closest to his house.
Cole grabbed the doorknob and was shot into a picture on the wall at his back. Shouts and expletives could be heard from the wolves in the corridor, more were clustered at the bottom of the third floor stairwell.
“f**k off to bed, you lot! Or you're next!“ Alexiou shouted menacingly.
Fane reached for the knob and she grabbed his arm.
“She has her Alpha shield up. We heard her screaming…” the female Guard's lip quivered at the end and her male counterpart rubbed her back.
“Alright there?“ Cole slapped the hand Miller offered as he laughed. The Lykos Guard stood with as much dignity as he could gather while wearing boxer pants and an undershirt.
Fane pricked his finger on a broken piece of glass from the floor and marked the door with the blood. His finger stung for an instant, then the door hummed in approval.
“Alpha,” Cole cautioned. The two Lykos nodded to each other after a minute and Fane slowly entered.
The right was the vanity and closet. To the left was the en-suite and a dresser behind the door. The four poster's headboard was against the wall of the bathroom, and the window was on the wall perpendicular to that.
Crossing the threshold, he felt her Alchemy renew her shield and slam the door shut.
This was very…intimate. Not being in his female's room, being in a wolf's shield. Her Alchemy had also rebuilt her shield around him while she slept through it all. His female was full of surprises.
He stepped to the side of her bed and took in her sleeping form, with the window in the bakcground. She lay on her back, face turned toward the door, one arm by her cheek and the other across her midlde.Her hair was falling out of a hair tie to curl on her pillow. The neckline of her sleep shirt was so worn it fell off her shoulder. Exposing the enticing dips and curves of her shoulder and clavicle. Her grape-sized moonstone rested on her arm. Her breath would speed up randomly, her eyes were shut, but he could see them flickering under the lids. She was having a nightmare.
A nightmare real enough to cause her Alchemy to protect her.
What the f**k is going on?
A whimper, so opposite of the one he had heard from her when they had kissed, made anger seep into his awe.
He told her to stop pretending, stop lying, to him at the very least. He should have known.
Fane used his pinky to move a curl from her eye. She twitched and her Alchemy surged.
“Teresi,” He whispered. Her brow furrowed and she rolled to her side, her body facing him. The excess material of the shirt fell over her chest, the top of her t**s shadowed, but just the thought- Fane breathed deep.
He placed his hand on her arm and within her shield, her mind's eye flitted into his in small clips.
*Run, they're coming. They'll kill you. Kill all the ones you love. Run. Not safe. Not safe. Kill everyone you love.
Trees were blurring past, the wolf could smell the blood of her pack over his stench. He would rue the day he touched any of her wolves. She had to protect. Protect.
Blood every where, feel it on the muzzle and on it's tongue. The wolf dispelled as much of the murderer as possible. Revenge isn't as sweet as she'd tought. “You're a murderer now too.“
Run. Run. You'll kill them.
Waking to cries for help. Trees and other debris blown in a circle from her. The clearing sizzles with her Alchemy. Bodies littered the edge of the ring she'd blasted. “Look what you've done in less than a minute. A professional murderer.“
You'll lose control and kill everyone you love.
A wolf on top of her. Too weak to phase or use Alchemy. This rogue female was strong, she looked the same age as her. A knife from the ground, plunged into the rogues neck. Her life blood pouring onto the neck and face. Made the eyes burn and soul break in two. “Not even matured to Mate age, tsk.“
An explosion outside the manor. Neuri's little body, lifeless and half scorched. Mother laying not too far off in an awkward position. She's rolled over and her face is blackened beyond recognition. So much nausea.
Run! They've killed them! Run not safe. Never safe.*
Fane fell to the floor, sweat rolled down his face and back. These things from her point of view, her emotions during these nightmares, would haunt him until he died.
Her Alchemy glowed and a thud sounded from in the corridor. Muffled arguing ensued.
“Alphas?“ Cole called through the door.
“Fine, I won't be leaving tonight. Stop touching the bloody door, she's still asleep.“ The stunned silence from the other side of the door was telling.
He went back to his sleeping Mate and laid a hand on her head. Thankfully the mental connection was broken. To have that shite in her head, in her f*****g dreams. Tomorrow she was going to tell him everything and then the Alphas would be properly informed of their impending Bond.
“Andros.“ She said his f*****g name. Her eyes were still closed. She said his name in her sleep.
He dried himself with a towel from her loo and undressed to his trunks. If she killed him in the morning, he would die a happy Alpha. Gingerly easing under the covers, Fane draped his arm over her waist. With a sleepy snuffle, Teresi rolled over and into him, nudging the tent in his pants with her thigh.
Her brow smoothed and her mouth relaxed. The flickering of her eyes slowed and her breathing began to match his.
'Mate.' Titan crooned.
Mate. Fane conceded, And it's about f*****g time we started acting like it.
In the morning, he was alone with her scent clinging to him and a raging hard on.
~~~~~~~~~
After a horrific start to her night, Nicole's nightmares had subsided and the Leto Princess woke decently rested. Judging by the light, or lack thereof, outside her window it wasn't quite six in the morning. She made to roll to her back and stretch, when her shoulder blade was met with a wall.
A wall of pectoral muscles, belonging to f*****g Andros!
She rolled silently to the floor and sat with propped against the bedframe. How had she not scented him as soon as she woke up? Oh right, her wolf was a bloody traitor. Banging her forehead on her knee a couple times, Nicole tried to pinpoint when he had climbed into her bed. More disturbingly, she wasn't even bothered by her intruder. The room felt more comfortable and homey as his scent mixed with hers.
Peeking over the edge of the mattress, she suppressed a simpering sigh at the sight of him sleeping. The Lykos Prince was much more appealing this way. The handsome pup she had secretly admired in her adolescent shone through in his relaxed countenance. His straight nose and strong jaw framed a perfectly full mouth. The masculine taste and firmness of those lips resurfaced in her mind. This bond was becoming a serious problem. Wetness was evident in her sleep shorts and she decided to let her wolf out for a run.
Even though the slag didn't deserve it, she couldn't stay in this room with him anymore. She left through the window and charged to the woods. The shredding of night clothes and the surge of Alchemy through her muscles were exhilarating. The fear of losing control kept her from phasing as often as she'd like, but Sabine had been patient with her.
'Not anymore.'
As Nicole was about to demand what the bloody hell that meant, Sabine howled to the sky. f**k! The whole sodding grounds would echo with her heartfelt bay. Her wolf was clearly displeased with her and she knew it was due to her uninvited bedmate. Sprinting through the trees, soaking in the earthy essence, and having Sabine to take the reigns felt freeing. Until the suffocating longing and loneliness of her wolf filtered in.
She was being selfishly unfair, which Nicole had been aware of to some degree. The impact it was having on her wolf must have gotten buried under all of the fear. The resentment. The stubbornness.
'I want my mate.' Sabine lauded.
She forced her wolf back and continued her morning run on two legs, starkers. “How could we be an Alpha and an Omega?“
'f**k off.'
“Really?“ She veered further into the woods, and away from Andros. Her wolf whimpered.
'We are Alpha. We're THEIR Omega. Theirs alone.'
“Brilliant.“ Nicole said sarcastically and decided a silent work out would be better. Sabine seemed to agree.
She couldn't afford to be at odds with her wolf. The Warrior Games were fast approaching and she would need Sabine's expert input to select the best candidates. Andros would be quite the adversary in this respect and she refused to come second to him. More importantly, the separation between her two halves was proper gutting. It was unsettling, as though there were ants crawling under her skin.
The crack of a twig was her only warning that she was not alone. A blur and the world rolled as she was engulfed in a world of mocha fur and teakwood. With a shock, she realized the Lykos hadn't fully phased. Rather, his body was still that of a man covered in a pelt, with elongated claws. From the wrestling the two did, she took note of his larger and more muscular figure. They landed with him growling with fury over her and she closed her eyes to phase.
Nothing happened.
Her lips were smashed into her teeth as Andros not-quite-human face covered her own.
'Titan.'
Nicole involuntarily wrapped him in her limbs and returned his ardor. She moaned when his teeth nipped her bottom lip. Gasped when his tongue shoved her own aside and dominated her mouth. Her skin tangled as her pebbled n*****s scraped through the silk fur of his chest. He pressed onto her harder and released her face.
“Mine!“ Andros growled. “My Mate! Not for all to see!“
His wolf spoke with him sending a thrill down her spine. His almost-snout jabbed at her face and neck, all while inhaling deeply. Sabine held her still as he scented her, though Nicole wasn't entirely sure she would've had the willpower to react negatively. Sabine's euphoria and that of the bond, piloted her body.
Her heart sped in pounds that shook her ribs. Her breathing had been reduced to lewd panting as his nose dragged over her Si̱meío on the side of her neck. His trek descended across her collarbone and sternum, to the sizable mounds of her breasts. He circled her n****e one after the other with the lightest touch of his nose. The gushing of her center clung her nether lips to the pants covering his bulging rod when he repeated the action.
She was butter melting into the soil underneath her. No thoughts or logic could peirce the veil of need that had descended upon her brain. Her very being trembled when the Alpha descended from her navel and opened his mouth to take great swallows of the aromatic slick that now coated her thighs, as well as their apex.
“I'm barely keeping Titan under control.“ Andros confessed to her quim, lowly. The claws braced on either side of her torso dug into the forest floor as if anchoring himself.
She shifted, her face flaming with embarrassment at his intense stare and those eyes flicked up her body to her face. A lightning bolt struck her psyche. Sabine was chanting:
'Mate. Alpha. Mate. Mine. Titan. Titan. Mate. MINE!'
“You're so f*****g gorgeous, mate.“ He rasped.
“Don't call me that.“ Her impulsive response was hypocritically breathless.
He snatched her body to his, grinding their pelvises and foreheads together. “You ARE my mate!“
His tongue replaced his snout. The thick, broad muscle laved viciously at her Si̱meío, the place where a wolf's Mate mark is displayed. The scent sac, located just above the juncture of the neck and shoulder, is punctured then healed with the Mate's saliva. Ensuring their scents mingled and the claim was prevalent to other wolves. Nicole panicked when she thought he would sink his teeth into it, but he licked his way to her n*****s.
The sensitive points were the targets of his mouth. He bit harshly onto one while pinching the other. She arched as she groaned loudly at the lust shooting from her breasts to her core. She'd never thought of her n*****s as s****l hotpoints, but her hips writhed, rubbing her swollen c**t against his waistband. The mushroom head of his erection rubbed her puckered hole, adding to the stimulation. Her pelvis ached from unfulfilled desire.
A yelp escaped her when his enlarged canine dragged over her the reddened tip, fingers tightening around the other. This seemed to please the Alpha and he paid the same oral tribute to the opposite n****e. He sucked as much of her breast into his mouth, the pressure so intense that tears of pleasure/pain sprang to her eyes. The canopy of green and the first coloring of dawn swirled in her vision as he abruptly released the abused flesh to bite his way to her throbbing center.
“Mine.“ Andros swiped his tongue roughly against her needy p***y and she keened. “Mine!“
His tongue grew more aggressive with each pass, from her taint up to the quivering bundle of nerves. Over and over. Her intimate muscles clenched on nothing. The heat in her pelvis pulling in on itself, tighter and tighter. Her body searching for that sweet release. He opened his jaw as wide as it would go and covered her lady parts. She exploded in ecstasy and yet the assault continued.
“Mine, Nicola!“ He asserted, trapping her c**t between his teeth. Her hands gripped his hair tightly and she couldn't decide whether to shove him off or pull him closer.
Enormous paws clamped her hips and her watery gaze shot to his.
“You're f*****g mine.“
