KABIR STORY

Waking up in morning I felt happy that I have got relaxed sleep in so many days. After getting ready with the help of a house hold man I went to my sister to meet her, she is already in living talking to Ruby. I felt happy that she is relaxed.

“Priyu.” I called my sister. She turned to face me giving me a 1000 watt smile running towards me and hugged me with full force if it was not for wheel chair I might be on floor right now.

“Brother. How’s you.” She asked releasing me.

“I’m fine princess.”

“How’s you.” I asked.

“I’m fine brother.” She said.

“Come have some breakfast.” Ruby said from behind.

We all went to dining room for the breakfast. I am looking here and there for her. Where is she?

“She went to office. She asked for apologies and she will join you both in evening.” Ruby said, I think she sees me that I’m looking for her. Stupid Kabir. What are you doing?

I feel disappointed but I know work come first. We all did our breakfast and we all start talking. We didn’t get to know the time as she came back which means its evening.

We all turned towards her and damn she is looking damn gorgeous in her professional suit .when she settled down, she start asking few questions now it’s my turn. 

I know I shouldn’t have to tell her my problems but I don’t know what came to my mind and I start as if I know she will understand me and will not judge me.

“Our family was small and sweet; include me, Priyanshi, mom, and dad. We all are living in Gujarat in very big house or you say a mansion. One day my parents went to my uncle’s (dad’s big brother) house for something, we don’t know as they don’t tell us why but just said that always protect and love your sister. Then next day my uncle came to our house stating that our parents were dead in a car accident as the car slip off from the cliff. And dad’s entire empire was taken by the government as he does illegal businesses and has debt of 20000crore. That time I do not understand what is happening than my uncle said that he will take care of us for which we have to shift with them but have to sign few documents , I simply  sign them then we both left with uncle to his house where everything was good for few months, then everyone starts showing their true colors, they start beating us, do not give us food for days that’s why we survive for days without eating when we met you, each and every work has to done by us if someone have to take out their anger, frustration they will beat us as a punching bag. When I was 15, I start working and whatever salary I got my aunt snatches from me saying that “I am giving you both to eat food and live under roof, and then you have to pay rent for that.” I didn’t oblige silently did whatever they want us to do in hope that one day they will love us. I complete my own studies on my own money then fill the vacancy of navy officer. Then whatever salary I get half of it I give to my sister to submit her college fee and rest give to aunt as a rent."

"Recently when war was initiated I was brutally injured by 3 bullets in my right leg and authority said that your leg is broken you can’t do any work that’s why we are firing you. That statement shocks me to the cores that how will me going to manage everything, and then I came to uncle’s house in hope that he will understand me but …….   When I come to the house seeing my sister standing outside the house with suitcase, I get it something has happened then I ask her, what happened, the answer she gave me broken to the core. And we left the house. And rest you know.” I said tears dropping down my eyes continuously.

Ruby gets up from her seat and went to Priyanshi and hugs her tightly giving her shoulder to cry on. On other hand Shivanya also get up from her seat and came to me and hug me, first I got stiff under her then relax and hug her back and start crying and she start whispering; “hey everything is going to be alright.” She was the first lady in my life who said that “everything is going to be alright” right here I get it that she is the one for me.

After some time when we both stop crying she ask me “what happened to her Kabir which broke you from core and make a decision to leave the place?”

We again look at each other, and this time Priyanshi start speaking

“one week before we leave the house, my uncle’s son came to my room at night in drunken state and start doing wrong things with me but as brother has taught me some self-defense, I kick him hard in that place where sun does not shine, he lie down on the floor in pain and start crying and me ran out of the room and went to brother room and lock myself for 5 days as no one is in the house when the incident happens then the sixth day when uncle and aunt came back my cousin start faking that I am seducing him, taking his advantage of his drunken state and when he rejects my offer I kick him there, my aunt got angry, then 5 of them start beating me, and beat me up for entire day and said go to your room and get ready people were coming for your hand in wedding, then an old man who seems to be quiet rich came and after seeing me said I am ready for this marriage, that day I cry for entire night and then getting early up, I pack my and brothers bag and leave the house as I know no will get up till 24 hours as I have mix sleeping tablets in the food. Then waiting for my brother for 2 hours which seems to be eternity, he came and we both leave the place for good.”

I know it’s hard for her to speak. After that no one speaks, everyone lost in their own thoughts.

And I start thinking what Shivanya will think of us, me especially as I have shown her all my weakness..

She rose from her chair and went somewhere I don’t know and I think she leaves me. She get it I am not the right choice, why I show my weakness to…….

my thoughts were cut off when she came back with 4 cups of ice cream and hand over to all of us and then she rose Priyanshi from her seat and hug her tightly making her to stop cry. She is something else man.

“You know Priyanshi you are the strongest girl I have ever seen, all the mishaps happen to you, you are still standing on your two feet. You are a champ. So stop crying and eat your ice cream before it melts. If it melts it will drip on floor then Ruby will start doing her tantrum. So eat.” She said making everyone laugh.

Then she turns toward Ruby and said “Ruby takes Priyanshi with you and make the dishes which Priyanshi likes the most.” With that ruby and Priyanshi left, leaving me and her in this room.

With that she turn towards me, make her way towards me and hug me, first I got shock by this gesture but after regaining my state I hug her back. After few minutes she broke the hug and I start miss her warmth.

After that she pulls my wheelchair and makes our way to a room look like her room.

“Give me 10 minutes, I will be back. I have to discuss something important to you.” She said and then leave to the door I guess bathroom.

Her room is not like an ordinary girl room, on one wall there was her image has drawn in which she looks damn beautiful. Walls were painted in white colors, furniture was of black and brown color, curtains were of peach color, in center was a queen size bed, 55’ LED TV, three door which I assume, one was entry gate, second was bathroom, and third was closet.

“Stop ogling at my room Captain.” She said interrupting my thoughts. I turn toward her side and then again lost in her thoughts, water was dripping from her hairs, in fact in simple nightwear i.e. top and pjs she look damn hot.

“Clean the drool from your mouth captain.” She said with a smirk. How much I want to remove that smirk from her face.

“Thank you very much, Shivanya.” I said as she makes her way towards me. Helping me to sit in sofa, then sat beside me.

“For what?” she said.

“For everything.” I asked.

“I want to ask you why are you doing all this for us?” I asked as I wants to know why she is helping us as in this world when our own family doesn’t help us, she is helping us.

She laughs bitterly, and then said “drinks?” I nod.

 She gets up take out two glass and one bottle from mini fridge, pouring for both of us handed one glass to me and start drinking;

“at least they were your uncle and aunt who did this to you, here all things happen to me did mostly by my own parents, as they never believe me, they always do what their or I say my dad always do what his brothers or his parents told him to do. Well leave that part and listen I don’t even know why I am helping you, when I get the answer of this question I will tell you for sure.”  She said and then drink.
