~ Lily ~ The first thing I notice is that I’m smiling before I even get out of bed. The second thing I notice is that I’m smiling because it’s Sunday. Then I started asking myself why. But I immediately choose to ignore that realisation because some thoughts are better left unexamined, like why my mood improves whenever Hector texts, or why I somehow know exactly what day of the week it is without checking my calendar, or why I spend fifteen minutes deciding what to wear to go get breakfast. Normal people don’t overthink just going out for breakfast. Yet here I am standing in front of my closet like the outcome matters. It’s not as if I’m trying to impress anybody.
