V Saying Goodbye Feet propped up on the coffee table, Heather slouched on her sofa as she poured through Clemson’s playbook. She had read it dozens of times over the past several weeks and continued to study the manual in preparation for the upcoming season. She felt better about her responsibilities at Clemson. Her initial feelings of inadequacy had subsided as she settled into the routine of the basketball program. Scouting would continue, but now her focus had shifted to learning plays and drills.
