MASON Something was honestly wrong with me. How did I let my guards down? I wasn’t one to care about people’s feelings but when Isobel continuously ignored me, I got worked up and I wanted to be the subject of her attention, but how? I didn’t know how to start up a conversation so I did the only thing that came to mind. I acted on impulse and spilled wine on the floor she had just cleaned.
