ISOBEL
I wasn’t looking for her, I wasn’t even thinking about any of them. If I had any sense left, I would have turned in the opposite direction the second I saw them, but instead, I foolishly stood frozen in place, and I unconsciously clenched my fists by my sides as I took in the sight before me.
It was Quinn and Sabine and they weren’t just talking, they were laughing together. Quinn’s head was slightly tilted to the side, and her eyes shone with something I hadn’t seen in a long time. She looked relaxed, amused, and extremely comfortable beside Sabine, like this was the most natural thing in the world. Like this wasn’t wrong, and the worst part of it all was that they weren’t even close to each other before now.
