CHAPTER 80 ISOBEL I woke up feeling different. I felt lighter but I also felt vulnerable. The burden that I had carried for so long in my chest, the constant one step forward and two step backwards, the war between my heart and my mind was finally over. It wasn’t totally gone though, but it wasn’t suffocating me anymore, and I knew exactly why. It was because of Mason. I turned my head, and just as I expected sure,he was still there on my bed. It wasn’t a dream. Everything that happened last night wasn’t a fragment of my imagination, it was real. He was lying on his side, and he just watched me with an unreadable expression on his face. His hair was a little messy, and his jaw tight like he was deep in thought, but there was no usual teasing smirk, or sharp comments that never failed
