CHAPTER 76 ISOBEL I should have ignored them and I should have walked away without thinking too much of their words, but the ache in my chest refused to leave and no matter how many times I told myself that Quinn had already made her choice, and that I had lost her the moment she decided to stand beside Sabine and turn against me, it still hurt. By the time I made my way back to my room, my hands were shaking with frustration and hurt. Not just at Quinn, and at my incredibly annoying cousin, Sabine who would do anything to frustrate me, but at myself for caring so much and for letting them get to me. I paced around the room in frustration, and then I gripped the edge of the dresser as I tried to brush the thoughts away but I still found myself thinking about them. Why? I asked myself.
