On Sunday, they all gathered at the church. After service, the ladies set up the picnic tables with large covered containers of sandwiches. They had different types of deserts, also in covered containers. There were lots of soft drinks in ice-filled coolers. They left the men in charge of the children and went into the recreation room to arrange things for Marissa’s baby shower.
The guys were having a great time on the playground with the children. They gave them food and showed them the trash cans to throw away the wrappers when they were finished. They pushed swings and caught little ones when they slid down the slides. Some of the children did not want to play, so some of the guys would sit and talk with them.
Inside, the ladies were having a great time. They also had food. When they
