Thank you so much for reading WAR GIRL ANNA.
At the end of War Girl Lotte, Anna was left in a predicament, but I knew she would somehow find a way out.
Writing Anna’s book was very challenging at times, because she had to endure so much. I must confess that at times I hated her a bit for being so weak and not resisting more openly, but in the end she found her moral compass and acted accordingly.
And Peter, don’t get me started about him. I loved him from the first moment he appeared in the story. The character of Peter was inspired by my visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. He’ll definitely get his own book, because I want to write about those incredibly brave and courageous Poles, fighting for their freedom.
