Chapter 12

The mature scene is marked with '###' STEPHI I opened my eyes and frowned at Sam, whose lap I was sitting in. "Are we still at the carnival?" "Yes, there was a...Clown and you fainted, do you remember?" I shook my head, "No, I don't. The last thing I remember was going into the haunted house." "Laura and Crowley got separated from us and there was a clown that jumped out." "Oh God, that's so embarrassing." I buried my face in my hands. "Not at all. We all fear something." Fear. Do you fear me? I wondered why this memory popped up, and from where I could hear it clear as day but I had no idea where I had heard it. "Where are they?" "Getting tickets for the Ferris wheel." I stood up from his lap, my legs feeling a bit shaky. He stood, towering over me and suddenly I remembered the clown stepping up in front of me, he too had been so tall. But that was all I could remember, I assumed that must have been when I had fainted. "Do you want to go on? Or would you prefer to keep your feet on the ground?" "I think I'd like to go on the Ferris wheel. Although I feel exhausted." He looked at me strangely but before I could ask him what was wrong, Crowley and Laura joined us. "Come on, let's try and all get on the same one!" Sam snatched two of the tickets from Laura, "No." "Why not?" She asked. "I'm sure Crowley would like to spend some quality time with you." I studied his face, something was going on, but I couldn't place my finger on what it was. Shaking it off, I followed behind to the Ferris wheel queue. It filled up rather quickly and we got on before it began. I stretched my legs out to the seat across from us, Sam sitting next to me. He looked so out of place with his size. The ride moved slowly, not that I was complaining; the view was breathtaking. I turned to ask Sam why he had been acting strange only to find him staring at me. "I'm so sorry, Stephi." My brow furrowed as I watched him, "Sorry for what?" He looked away, "I..." he turned back to me, "I want to kiss you. I don't know how to handle any of this because I've never felt this before." I leaned closer to him, my lips meeting his as his hand went to the back of my head, deepening our kiss. The same tingling heat I felt whenever our skin met rushed through me as our tongues met. And then he pulled away, "I'm sorry. Fvck. I'm so sorry, Stephi. Hell I can't do this. How do you people handle this pain?" I frowned, extremely confused, "Sam, I don't understand what's going on here." He clutched at his chest, "I can't do this." "You can't do what?" "It... it physically hurts, how can it physically hurt? I don't understand this." I tilted my head to the side, "Sam, I don't understand what you're talking about." He looked back at me, "You don't. You... won't. This isn't going how I planned. I'm sorry. I'm not good at this, I don't know what I'm doing." I sighed, "That's okay, you know? Just enjoy the view with me." I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I want you as my own." I didn't move my head from his shoulder, "Are you trying to ask me out?" "I think so. Again, I don't know how any of this works. But I want you to be mine and not anyone else's. But we can't because it's not safe. I'm not safe." "What does that even mean, Sam?" He put an arm around me, "I don't know." "How are you not safe?" "I can't tell you that right now. But I do... bad things. And I know bad people. It would put you in danger." My curiosity made me want to ask more, but I didn't want to ruin what could potentially be a good night. "Sam, right now all I want to do is enjoy the rest of this night with you. Can we do that? We can figure everything else out later, okay?" I could feel him nod. × ### Walking along a dark beach, I knew that I must have been dreaming when I saw Sam, his hair swaying behind him in the wind. He smiled as I walked into his arms and kissed him passionately, our tongues dancing for ownership. His hand grazed my inner thigh as I moaned into him. What had gotten into me, I wasn't quite sure, but his touch alone ignited my skin and sent heat rushing to my core. He lifted me effortlessly, my legs wrapping around his waist, I could feel his need for me beneath his pants which only intensified my own want for him. Laying me down on the sand he hovered himself over me, planting soft and sensual kisses along my neck, down my chest, and over my cleavage. Moaning I clutched at his hair as his fingers met my pulsing core. Why was he taking so long? As if he heard my thoughts he slowly discarded my shorts and underwear as he slipped a finger into me. Bringing his mouth back to mine, he kissed me as his first finger was joined by a second, clutching at his back, I moaned again into his mouth. His fingers slowly pumped in and out as his thumb rubbed circles on my c**t. "You are mine, Stephi." I shuddered against him, bucking my hips up against his hand, needing his fingers deeper within. My body shivered at his touch, his fingers buried deep within, he brought his head down and his tongue flickered over my hard n****e, his hand massaging the other slowly. I didn't even stop to wonder when my shirt had come off. "God, Sam." I moaned, clutching tightly at his hair as he lightly nipped at my n****e, his teeth sending another shudder through me. And then he was gone, but before I could complain, his tongue had replaced his thumb. His fingers worked glorious magic within my slick core, his tongue lapping over me, lapping up my juices as he sucked on me. "I love the way you taste." I bucked my hips wildly as he slipped his tongue into me. My body shuddered violently as I came undone in his mouth. "Oh, God, Sam, please let me feel you." Slowly he lifted himself, undressing, and his d**k sprung upright. I only had a moment before he lowered himself over me, his glistening head at my entrance. I moaned as I felt his length stretch me, slipping slowly in. It was the most glorious pain I had ever felt. My head rolled back as he pushed himself into me, slowly pulling out before slamming back in. "Harder. Please." He shuddered at my words, lifting my leg over his shoulder he began pumping in and out with such ferocity that I was sure I would be bruised. With each slam, I could feel him hit my sweet spot. My nails cut into his back, I was getting close to another orgasm. Fueled by my lust I tried to match his strokes, desperate to reach my second climax. "Call out my name as you come on my dick." That was all I needed to push me over the edge, his d**k twitching inside me as my walls tightened around him like a vice. "Fvck, yes! Samael!" I screamed as I shuddered, cumming together with him. ### I sat up in bed, pouring with sweat from the dream I had just had. I wasn't only embarrassed by it, but the name I had called him as I came undone sent a shiver through me. It had only been a few days since the carnival, but I had begun to feel as though I had forgotten something important. Wiping down the counter at work with the last few customers in the diner, I gazed absentmindedly out the window, Sam had been there a few moments earlier on his new bike, but he seemed to have left now. Laura leaned on the counter, "Looking for Sam?" "What? Oh, no. I keep having this strange sense that I've forgotten something important about the carnival." "You know, I had the same thing! I remember going in, and I'm sure it was you and I that got separated from the others, not you and Sam." "I think you're right, Laura. It was us that got separated, you pulled me into that hallway!" I let out a frustrated groan, "No, but that doesn't make sense, because I remember the clown, and falling into Sam's arms." "Maybe I'm remembering it wrong then. God, that must have been awful for you! I can only imagine how scared you must have been." Why are you not scared?! Do you fear me? "Steph?" I forced a smile, "Sorry, my mind was elsewhere. Do you want to cash up? I'll clean the tables." She nodded and I made my way into the back, getting the cleaning supplies from the closet near the back door. Getting what I needed, I left the supplies at the door as I took the trash bags out to place them in the dumpster. I had just thrown the last one in when a noise caught my attention. Turning I jumped back, hitting the dumpster. In the dark, I could see a figure coming toward me, but I couldn't see who it was. Once he got closer, I breathed a sigh of relief, placing a hand over my chest. "Crowley, we do have a front door, you know." He chuckled, showing me the flowers in his hand, "I was hoping to surprise Laura." "Oh, that's nice, well, go on ahead." I motioned to the door and he stepped in. He turned, smiling at me before leaving me standing outside alone. Although Laura seemed happy with him, there was just something that I didn't like about him. With a sigh I slammed the dumpster closed and went back inside, locking the door behind me and retrieving my cleaning supplies. Making my way to the front I offered a beaming Laura a small smile as I walked over to the tables. "Aren't I a lucky girl? Crowley has cruise tickets! A few days of fun and sun, a dream, don't you think?" "Yeah, that sounds great, Laura." I began my task of wiping down the tables. Crowley, yet again in a suit, came over to lean against the table I was cleaning, "You know, I have a few extra bookings," he waved a hand, "Work perks. You could join us if you want?" "Oh, no, it's okay, thank you. I'll probably need to take Laura's shifts." He looked over at Laura, "Love, speak to Stehpi, she seems to be all work and no play." "But I bet it would be a different story if Sam asked." She winked at me. Crowley clasped his hands together dramatically, "Oh, that's a brilliant idea! Why don't we invite both of them?!" There was a tap on the window and I couldn't help but smile when I turned to see Sam. Going over I opened the door and he stepped in, "Hello, am I late?" "No, we're just finishing up here." He glanced at Crowley and gave him a short nod. "Speak of the devil and he shall appear," Crowley grinned, "I just mentioned you." Would you dance with the devil? I frowned, where had that come from? Laura came over to us, "Crowley is taking me on a lovely cruise. We were trying to persuade Stephi to join us." He turned to me, "Are you going?" "No, I think I'd much rather keep my feet firmly on land." Laura pouted, "Oh come on, all four of us could go." Sam took a seat at the table, surprising me by pulling me down onto his lap, "I think it could be nice for us to get away." Us? Since when was there an us? "I knew Sam would agree," Crowley said. I pulled back, studying Sam, "You want to go?" "Sure, it might be nice." SAM "Sure, it might be nice." The truth was that I didn't trust Crowley and I was beginning to have my doubts about Laura too; I knew that she was a witch, but I suspected that she had kept this from Stephi, and I wasn't sure if she was aware of what Crowley and I were. I was worried that they would convince Stephi to go with them, without me. And although Crowley had agreed to leave us be, I didn't trust him not to torment her at every chance. I knew that I could simply go to the Archangels and tell them what was going on, they would surely punish him, but they would also make sure that I wasn't able to be with Stephi, and I was too selfish to allow that. I knew that I cared about her, and these feelings were still strange to me, but I was trying to deal with them as best as I could. I was even wondering if I should come clean to her about what I was, but I feared it was too soon for that and I would scare her off, so I decided to wait with that. Perhaps this trip would give Stephi and me a chance to get closer, I believed that in time she may be comfortable enough with me to trust me even after I revealed my true self to her. "I never thought you'd be the 'cruise' type." "I'm not. However, I would quite enjoy spending time with you." She smiled at me, and I finally understood how humans were able to become so fixated on this feeling. Suddenly pulled from my distraction by Crowley sitting down opposite us, I felt my mood dampen. "We leave in two days, will you be meeting us, or should I fetch you?" I felt Stephi slump, "Dammit. I can't go, I don't have anyone to look after Soul." Crowley's brow furrowed in confusion, "Who is Soul?" "My pit bull. He doesn't like strangers so I can't get a pet sitter." "I do believe I may pull a few strings to bring him along, as long as he does not place anyone in danger." I wanted to roll my eyes as if he cared about lives. I leaned my chin against Stephi's shoulder, "I'll make sure he's on his best behavior." I didn't miss the look Crowley gave me, but I chose to ignore it not wanting to cause a fight in front of Stephi, if she had to see how ruthless I could be, she would run for the hills.
