Things were tense.
Laura was annoyed with me, not only because of me blackmailing her, but also due to how Nasroque was acting around me.
I knew she was threatened by this, which was exactly what I had wanted.
She was beginning to be overly clingy to Nasroque, barely leaving him and I alone together.
