"D, I have to cancel our plans later," Archer said. Dmitri looked at him, confused. "What? Why? I already booked us a space," he replied. Archer took his wallet out and handed him the card his mother had given him separately. "Something came up," he said. "Here’s my card. Just don’t max it out. I promise I’ll explain later," he added. Dmitri took the card, still puzzled, but nodded. Archer didn’t wait any longer. He grabbed his duffel bag and left the gymnasium. He went straight to his car and drove home. Once inside, he dropped his bag, changed into more comfortable clothes, and headed out again without wasting time. Archer drove to the place where they usually met.
