Chapter 18: A Proposal to Remember

260 Words
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Alexander felt his love for Amara deepen with each passing moment. And as they stood on the precipice of a new chapter in their lives, he knew that it was time to take the next step. Alexander: *nervously* "Amara, can we talk?" Amara: *smiling* "Of course, Alexander. What's on your mind?" *Alexander took a deep breath, the weight of the ring burning a hole in his pocket as he knelt before her.* Alexander: "Amara, from the moment I met you, my life changed in ways I never thought possible. You've brought light into my darkest days, and love into every corner of my heart. I can't imagine my life without you by my side, and I don't want to. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" *Amara's breath caught in her throat as tears welled in her eyes, her heart overflowing with love for the man kneeling before her.* Amara: *emotionally* "Yes, Alexander. A thousand times yes!" *As Alexander slipped the ring onto her finger, sealing their love with a promise of forever, the world seemed to stand still around them.* Alexander: *tenderly* "I love you, Amara. Always and forever." Amara: *softly* "And I love you, Alexander. With all that I am." *In that moment, as they embraced amidst the backdrop of a setting sun, Amara and Alexander knew that their love was a force to be reckoned with—a bond that could weather any storm and conquer any obstacle, now and for all eternity.*
