“Where's she?” My excitement dampened seeing Celeste enter with no sign on Aella in sight. “You said she's awake” I stood from where I sat
“Yeah she is. Just not available now” Celeste shrugged, “where's Kay?”
“Just not available now” I replied sarcastically.
She chuckled, “I meant, she's with her sister Alpha, calm your horses”
Sigh. “Kay will be returning to the pack ahead of us. He needs to be there as my beta” I replied.
“Oh” her face fell
“He wanted to inform you, but there was no time. It was urgent that he left immediately” I offered a little consolation.
“Ohkay” she muttered. “What are you upto?”
“Nothing, just thinking about the recent events. Somehow the feeling from being at the Beta's house still feels kinda off”
