The room froze at my question, Kaden seemed to have disappeared without my knowledge. Well, that's irrelevant.
“She's…” Celeste hesitated, “Alive”
I nodded, that was honestly all that mattered, “Good” on a second thought I pressed further “how is she taking everything?”
“Not too well” Celeste sighed, “we've tried our best, but—I think it's better you see for yourself”
“See what?”
“Just freshen up and we can go see her”
“No need to be so mysterious, but fine. I do need to see her for myself, not like we can run away from any of this” I sighed, finding out that Lilith was my sister and saving her wasn't exactly what I envisioned for my future but better to just go with the flow, at least for now.
