I waited for the attack but it never came. Opening my eyes, I saw a huge black wolf standing before me and an injured Karen sprawled on the floor. She had reverted back to her human form.
Kaden knelt in front of Eros’s wolf, his eyes filled with guilt, the other four girls knelt up ahead, trembling visibly.
Eros wolf turned back to me, ignoring them, it sniffed me, nuzzling against me with it's nose. It's red eyes captivated me “Eden” I heard it's voice in my head.
Smiling I hugged him, tears spilled from my eyes, he bared his fangs at them on sighting my tears. Kaden looked at me pleadingly.
I tightened my hold on Eden, not letting him go, as no doubt he would rip them to shreds, shifters especially red eyed Alpha's were as deadly as they were powerful.
