Chapter 11: The first time meeting

l arrived work a bit late. As l reach behind the office the was a small crowd guarded. l was curious so l went to check out what what the commotion was about. There,l saw the same man l earlier seen at the cafe` at the center of crowd wearing a white coat as l assumed to be a doctor. l ask one of the colleagues nurse what was going on. she responded that the man at the center is a new transfer doctor that just arrived today that all the female are drawn by him and surrounding him like a God. At the middle with him was our hospital self proclaimed queen Caroline throwing herself at him saying some stuffs without shame. " Doctor let me show you around the hospital" Caroline said. Another female nurse added " no she doesn't know the hospital well more than me so let me show you around. I guess that might have angered Caroline because her face twitch to pure rage at she retorted" how dare say that to me with your fithly mouth " . The guy in the center sense the center arrising quickly spoke up a sexy deep voice echoed and it silence everyone l swear you could even hear a pin drop at that moment. " Thanks but l have someone to already show then he raised his head as if he was searching for something in the crowd, then he eyes lock with mine l felt butterflies in my tummy as if time as Frozen around us we stared at each other for a while and l shyly look away embarrassed.Then his deep voice rank through the crowd again and looking and pointing directly at me " nurse Carter will help escort me around the hospital" he said like l had no option almost like an order. Everyone turned to look directly at me as if they had been hitted with thunderbolt their face showed shock expressions some shown angered one like Caroline. l was equally astonished as well because l did not expect that. Then he removed himself form the crowd and took my hands and left the group of people standing there like thier souls has just left thier body. l rolled my eyes at them how come you act like that to someone you just met no even half of a day you don't even know his personality and you are acting like that. He dragged me and stopped at the hospital garden and turn to face me . " sorry for what happened back there l needed a way to get away from those people" he said in a frustrated tone as he rubbed back of his head with his hand. l stared at him damn was this man hot no wonder all the female were crushing on him hand. He saw that l had a confused expression and properly introduce himself" were are my manners l am Dr. Damien Black nice to meet you". l was still in a daze then he snapped his fingers at me to draw my attention. l quickly came back to reality and replied " nice to meet you Dr. black l am Nurse Eva Carter" . l aso introduce myself even though the wasn't a need for that since he already mentioned my name earlier. He gave me a charming smile and a dimples revealing , l felt weak at the moment and quickly steaded myself and smileda back. " As l already dragged you here why don't you just show me around" he said in his deep sexy voice. l nodded and led the way to show him around. l don't know what l have gotten myself into but l knew it was worth a try.
