Chapter 30
Both teams were hard at work trying to solve the puzzle when the Crusaders finally figured it. The glass case opened to reveal sparkling shoes, with both teams grabbing their share and sprinting toward their lines. Two members from each team put on the shoes, with each runner donning a pair.
The glass cases, abandoned in the middle of the field, went back inside the ground. Both moved quickly towards the players, waiting for them to change into the new shoes. One of our runners ran in front of the puller player, clicking on a button located on these futuristic shoes, and they went ‘up in the air’. It didn’t lift too far up and could be maneuvered both sideways and forward.
