As she turned into a U-turn,a Porsche swerved at the same time making her halt quickly, preventing a collision.

Coming out of her corolla bare foot,she walked over to the Porsche and peered but couldn't see who was in because of the tinted glasses.A minute passed and the unknown person was still not out of the car.

Anger welled within her and as she couldn't control it any longer,she furiously banged at the bonnet.

“Are you blind or can't you see you almost ran me over...who be this one oo(who are you),ahbi na because of sey you carry car wey pass my own own ahbi....abeg comot for that car sharp sharp (get out immediately)".As the door opened a well built man stepped out.

Kaana took in a short breath.What was wrong with her?,she scolded herself and got back to business.

"Oga(mister man).... weren't you seeing "she hissed

The stranger with striking looks just stood still looking at this outburst from this mystery woman.“Since you can't talk I'll show you the stuff I'm made off"making a quick dive she grabbed his shirt.

The strange man just looked at her amusingly at the show she was displaying. Sensing he wasn't responding,she tugged harder at his shirt.

“Kill me na.....

Appearing to have had enough,he gave her a warning look thinking she will release her grip on his shirt,but as she persisted he yanked at her arm pulling her away from him.

Fear gripped her as she stared into his dark eyes , turning she walked back into her car, tugging her escaped curls at the back of her ears,she wind down tossing her hair away from her face, stretched out her hands and shoved her two middle fingers at him“werey man,mumu(crazy man, senseless). Winding up she hit the gears and drove off, wandering such character of a woman he just encountered.

Kaana woke up to the sound of her phone ringing, disturbing her not too deep sleep.Hissing she got out of bed to pick her phone.She cursed when it was a vc from Nena, Kaana got back into bed pulling the covers over her she picked the call.

“Kaana what's poppin' “Nena began in his normally loud voice.

"Why you dey shout (why are you shouting).....

“So it's a crime checking up on you now,I guess"

“No way it's not a crime.... what's going on tho"she yawned

“Nothing much just wanted to say hi ,you sound really tired "Nena chuckled knowing fully well what was wrong with her.“How big was your client from yesterday"

Kaana let out a rib -wrecking laugh.“Big is an understatement,he was huge,but what's a girl going to do,she needs to pay her bills"she wiped a tear from her eye caused by the long laugh

“That's why I love you, I mean....your determination is just so amazing.

She sighed as her heart swelled with love for him“Thanks Nena"

“Thanks for what girl?I love you and I respect you alot alrii"

"Right, we'll talk later I need to sleep out this stress "she rubbed her sleepy eyes again.

“Love you more".

Nena her only friend had a way of making her feel special.
