Eric and Joey nod at me, seeing the strength I'm barely able to muster in my eyes. Then, without a word, Joey looks over his shoulder, through the window, and nods once. It's only then I notice the well-dressed individual in wire glasses outside my door. In less time than I was mentally prepared for, I watch as Alan leans down and opens the car door beside me. All of the hells break loose. Before I know it, my head begins pounding from the full cacophony of the crowd. No one is cheering or screaming, but a couple hundred voices all speaking at once is more noise than I've heard in my life, especially with Saphira's new hearing added on.
