Eric doesn't even flinch. "Yeah. This is our bedroom." "Our as in you, me, and Joey?" "Of course! Who else would it be?" he chuckles, probably imagining so ridiculous joke about inviting a party or Marissa or something. But then he sees the expression on my face, and his carefree smile falters. "Ali? What's wrong?" I can't answer him right now, though. All I can do is rewrite everything I thought for the last ten minutes. This isn't my bedroom. This isn't my upstairs area. That's not my living room, kitchen, dining area and balcony. This isn't my apartment. It's our apartment. A snicker escapes my lips. I'm such an i***t. Of course I won't have my own place. That would be way too much to ask for. It's not like I deserve it. Eric and Joey are being nice by letting me stay with them. A
