"Hello? Did you all die in the last twenty-four hours?"
As the unfamiliar voice calls from beyond the threshold, I back up as quickly and as quietly as I can. When my butt bumps the corner of the sofa, fear releases my voice.
"Who the hells is that?" I hiss, looking rapidly between the guys and the door.
But Eric just chuckles and shakes his head. "I think it's better if we do all the introductions at once." Then, as if he was just greeting the pizza delivery guy, he gets up and waltzes over without a care in the world, opening the door.
