A giant waft of deliciousness pounds its way into my nostrils as we enter the restaurant. Fried meats, soy sauce, fresh vegetable stir fry, and that always present umami aroma all good Chinese restaurants have overpower my senses in the best of ways. Especially now that my sense of smell is heightened, along with my hearing and vision. Speaking of which, I've never seen a more vibrant restaurant in my life. Reds and golds embroider everything from the carpet to the wallpaper to the seating arrangements and tables. Every now and again a pop of jade catches my attention, showcasing another important cultural hue. Oriental coins and symbols line the counter and decorate the menus, including the ever-present phoenix and dragon, hand drawn with careful intricacies. I can tell the lighting is me
