Sophia I bit my lips, preventing the laugh that was trying to come out. Enzo and Nonna were playing butter ups and I was their spectator. In as much as I would love to go up my room and continue with my project...I had to watch, otherwise I was not getting anything if they were to bake today. "I didn't choose wikki for nothing." Lola half yelled, running into the kitchen as she dropped her iPad in front of me. "She won?" "She won." She nodded, smiling. "Can I get my 500 bucks from you now?" She put out her hand and smiled. "And also from you Enzo, wikki won." She jumped up. We had made a bet about an international fighting game and Lola had bet on wikki, the smallest contestant. "Okay okay, you won this time." I mumbled, picking up a cookie and placing it on her open palm. "What the hell is this? Don't do this Sophia, we made a deal." Lola glared at me, as she stretched out her hand to my face. "I don't have any cash now..." I made a baby face. "I'll give it to you tommorow." I said and she smirked... leaning down to whisper something in my ear. "If you don't give me my cash..." She whispered and paused. "I'll tell Dad about the stranger that came to your room last week and.." I placed my hand over mouth, pressing it as I chuckled as if she had said something funny. "We'll be back Nonna." I half yelled at they two bakers. Dragging the little witch up to the third floor, I pushed her into the room and closed the door. "What did you see?" I paced around. Damn! Damn! Damn! "I really didn't see anything." She mumbled and I narrowed my eyes at her. "Really?" I asked and she nodded. This wasn't good at all. "Then how did you know about him in my room?" "I heard noises...and I woke up and saw him, then slept back. I actually thought it was a dream. I was just playing with you back there." Lola snorted as she shook her head and jumped on the bed. Damn! "So you really had him in your room that night...." She giggled like a six year old. She was a six year old. "It isn't like that." "I know. I know." She waved her hand in a dismissive manner. "The same way it wasn't with Tristan?" She asked, making my eyes widened. Was this girl really my sister? Why was she so......brutal and spoilt? And a six years old! "I'm not spoilt...stop looking at me like that." She shook her head, coming down the bed. "Where are you going?" "To meet Nonna and Enzo, no bread or bruschetta for the lazy, remember?" Lola ran out of the room giggling and singing an Italian song for sinners and hell.... .one I normally sing for Papa and Enzo, when the piss me off. "Stop singing that!" I yelled at the top of my voice, slamming the door close. My phone rang instantly and I sighed, picking it up from the desk where I had tossed it to rest. "Hey Silver." "Mr Williams told me about the T&B test, can I come over to study this night?" I sighed. Silvana! Enzo would never look at you! My brother is a jerk from another world! "Uhm... Silvana..." I began, looking for the right words to use. "It's mainly for the book, I swear to not bother Enzo." She mumbled. I heaved a deep breath. "Come on Sophia, you know how bad I am in that subject..help me please. Pretty please." She begged. "Okay okay, when are you coming over?" I asked, staring at the clock. It was still morning..thank God! "By seven this evening." Thank God! "Okay, see you then. Bye bye, flying kisses." I said, and then the call was disconnected. "She shouldn't come here." I turned to the voice and Enzo was leaning on my doorframe. "When did you get in here and why?" I glared at him. "She shouldn't come here." He stated again, more sternly. He was pissed. But why? "She likes you." "She shouldn't f*****g like me. I don't do good girls Sophia. Tell your friend to zip up her skirt. I don't do good girls." Enzo said, holding the knob to leave. "Dad is calling for you." He paused again. "In his office and I don't know the f*****g reason." He said, walking out. I stilled. I had never been afraid my whole life like I was right now. My father was out there in his office, waiting for me to come. He had never once asked for me before....talk more his office. Had he seen L'Angelo and I together? Was the CCTV working? Of course it was...but was it checked every minute? I didn't know I had been walking this whole time, cause when I looked up...I was in front of my father's office. I knocked the door reluctant as my heart hammered in my small chest. "Come in." My father's thick voice answered and I pushed the door opened... walking in. The room was dark with a little light coming through the small part of the window that was not covered with the curtain. Man of darkness! "Papa." I called, feeling every hair on me rise. "Hmm..Sophia." Papa called, and sighed. "Enzo said you called for me and I should meet you here. Is there a problem papa?" "You have to deliver something for me." He said, dropping an envelope on the table. I picked it up, relief washing through me. Wait a minute.....me? Deliver something? "To who papa?" "A business associate of mine. He's in an hotel right now and he'll be leaving by Twelve this afternoon." A business associate? Does Nonna know this? She would never allow it! "But...but papa." I began to protest in a good way. My father and I were not really on good terms. "Go now, Andrew will take you there." He said sternly, leaving no space for argument. I nodded, walking to the door and just as I held the knob..I paused. If I was going on a Mafia mission even though it was just delivering a letter, I needed to know who I was heading to. "And who might this be papa?" "Mr L'Angelo Morte." My eyes widened, and I swallowed. Why was everything revolving around this man! TBC
