After playing off that I had run to Emily to make sure she had someone to Hunter, I turned and ran to the hospital. The nurses were frantically trying to give Hailee the right medication she needed in order to heal correctly. Dr. Putnam was barking orders all over the place, ensuring that she got the best care she could. Alfred was right beside her the whole time until the nurses pushed him out of the room and closed the curtains.
He turned to me with black eyes and I could tell he was so mad that he was about to shift. He started walking my way. “Do you know what happened?” He growled when he was close enough to me.
