Justin’s POV:
I wanted so badly to follow Hunter out that window, but guards took me down. They injected me with a calming serum that was supposed to put me to sleep, but my adrenaline and need to keep Emily safe was too much. Once the serum was injected into me, everyone turned their attention to Hunter who had already shifted and was headed out the window. As soon as he leaped out the window, Alpha John shifted into his wolf and jumped out after Hunter.
I didn’t give anyone any time to recover from the shock of both Hunter and Alpha jumping. I pushed past the drowsiness of the serum and pushed myself off the ground. My muscles did everything they could to slow me down with the serum coursing through my body but I didn’t listen to them. I ran out of the bathroom and straight to the hall
