Overcome with exhaustion, Reika had crashed at his place, taking up the majority of the bed and the sheets, and sleeping like a drugged baby. In contrast, Naoki hadn‘t gotten a wink. He’d just kept seeing Reika’s hand healing before his very eyes, especially when those eyes drifted closed. When sleep came close, it was other, older wounds he saw sealing flawlessly against all logic, until fear and anger jolted him awake.
