Willow The sun sank below the horizon and Willow fastened her red cloak around her. She paused at the front door and listened to Morgause's light snoring. Nodding in satisfaction, she carefully lifted the latch and slipped out into the darkness. She raced to the edge of the pond but Ronan wasn't there. Her heart sank. Maybe he wasn't going to come at all. “And what is a sweet, little morsel such as you doing alone at night?" Ronan's deep, smooth voice rasped huskily from behind her. Willow whipped around and smirked at him. “It is bold is bold of you to assume that I am sweet." Ronan chuckled and shook his head. “How wrong of me to choose my own words."
