Irene's P.O.V
Days turned into weeks and my life went from worse to worse. It dawned on me that Xavier abandoned me at the slave quarters. Since I have been abandoned here, I never set my eyes on him nor was I allowed to get closer to the main house.
Every brand new day in the slave quarters was like torture to me. Lily and some of the maids spent most of the time picking on me and making my life a living hell.
Tears were my companion every night and misery took the lead during the day. The only thing I was filled with was regrets! However, I didn't regret the fact that I ratted out Xavier to the Supreme Alpha, I regretted the fact that I had to be brought into this world only to live a life full of misfortune and hopelessness.
