What would my life have been like if I hadn't taken the bold steps to reveal all of Xavier's atrocities toward me? Xavier was whipped before me and somehow, I had a feeling of compassion toward him my heart broke because of the way he was whipped. What amazed me was despite him being punished, he never flinched.
Instead, he kept on saying that I was his wife and whenever we locked eyes together, I saw the horror in his eyes.
Apart from all that, he was also banned temporarily and from what I heard, he had a cousin that was also banned temporarily a few days ago.
I shoved all the thoughts aside because, in the real sense, I shouldn't be thinking about Xavier, anything that would happen to him now wasn't any of my business because I was finally free from his claws.
