Irene's POV
I was quietly thinking about what I did back there, I was really amazed how I calmed Xavier down, I guess he must be sleeping by now.
I knew I had to follow my heart and don't be a whimper just like Damien, I stayed with him even when I knew my life was at risk, the love I have for him has overridden the fears and awkwardness I fell towards him.
I couldn't sleep, although I slept for a few hours before now. A maid rushed into my room without knocking, very disrespectful and weird to me I snapped.
