Irene's POV
I felt proud that I had saved Xavier's life, as much as I hated him, I couldn't let him die. I hoped that with this he would change his attitude towards me, I was getting tired of the sudden changes, just like a chameleon that changes spots. He's very calm, kind and then be changes into the cold, ruthless monster, it's quite cumbersome for me to understand and endure.
Standing outside his room, he didn't even appreciate what I did for him, he thinks I tried to take the praises for another person's act, such nerves. This made me very annoyed, I should have left him to drown six feet into the sea, that would have taught him lessons in his next life, that's if ruthless monsters like him have a place to live in the next life.
