I caught sight of a tall mansion that stood in the middle of oak trees at a distance. "That must be the supreme Alpha's house" I thought inwardly as I felt my stomach tie a knot. I wasn't only anxious but I was scared as I began to fiddle with my fingers again. Xavier seemed to have noticed my distress as he placed his hands on mine assuring me that everything would be fine. "Irene, you don't have to be scared. Just follow my instructions and everyone would live happily ever after "
His warm smile suddenly turned to a smirk. "I am sure you know the consequences of your action if you disobey me" He patted me on the hand.
