Chapter 23On Monday I don't get into the office until late morning. I told Paul not to come in until the afternoon as we were both very tired after our marathon day yesterday.
After gathering my thoughts, I telephone Inspector Gerard to give him an update. I tell him most of the information I have, and apart from asking me to make a brief statement to the press officer, he seems satisfied to let me carry on with the investigation.
