JORDAN’S HEART POUNDED like a bass drum inside his chest, loud enough to make his head throb and his blood thrum like a guitar in a rock concert.
“f**k, that was...” Aaron’s deep voice made Jordan groan, the fire that had just been quenched, roaring to life once again.
He had majorly underestimated the effect this mate bond would have on him. How was he ever going to convince Aaron they weren’t right for each other, when the s*x had been so unbelievably incredible?
“Yeah.” He pulled himself up, his skin slick with sweat and his head spinning. “That was.”
He swung his legs off the bed and pushed up. He needed some distance between then, and fast.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Aaron asked, sitting up on the bed.
