Loretta

1080 Words
Ding Ding Ding... With a slight groan I grab my phone and turn the alarm off. With a sigh I stare at the ceiling for a while, just into blank space. I knew I would have to get up for school here soon. I just didn't want to. Something tells me that they are going to be talking about me again. Which I don't entirely understand because she could've just been over-reacting. Finally, I got up and moved towards my closet, pulling out some black jeans with a deep blue hoodie. Along with other female things needing to be done. After getting changed and brushing my teeth and hair, I walked towards the door to the garage. Grabbing a quick snack, I ate it while walking out the door. I grabbed my keys and leather jacket outside the door in the garage and got on my babygirl. Pulling my hood up and tucking my hair inside of it, I pulled on my helmet and headed towards school without hesitation. Once parking I pull my helmet off and placed it on my lap. I propped my arms up on it as I looked around. Watching the crowds gather, mingle, and than disperse for other groups. As my gaze swept through the crowd, a set of grey eyes caught my attention. A pair that was already staring straight at me. The same pair from my fight last night. I made sure not to linger my gaze before locking my helmet in my saddle bags, grabbing my bag, and heading into the school. As expected, more gazes lingered on me, or more on my body than usual. I kept my head down and face covered. Maneuvering through the crowd I felt someone collide with my back, knocking me forward a bit. Spinning around, I see that a jock had thrown another jock out of his way. Causing him to be thrown into me. My eyes narrowed when I realized the guy still had a grip on my leather jacket. I stood still for a moment, and when he didn't move, just looking at me curiously, I spoke. "Get your hands off of me." I seen as his eyes widened slightly, probably surprised I spoke for once. He immediately released me and backed away. Turning around I see the girl from earlier outside looking at me again with her grey gaze. Why the hell is she watching me? Everywhere I turn she has to be there. Other people were there as well but I just left and went to class. -------------Skip to Lunch-------------- I almost didn't want to go to lunch today. People better not ruin this year for me. As I walk in and sit down I can still feel some eyes on me. With a sigh I start listening to music and draw in a notebook of mine. As I see a couple of shadows over my table I place my pencil down and look up enough to see who they are. Only to be met with them grey eyes. Dammit. As I see them talking I remove my ear buds. "Who are you?" I hear someone on my left say, a guy with black hair and green eyes with tattoos going down his arms. I didn't reply to him but as I looked around I can tell more eyes have turned towards us. "We asked you a question." I still didn't reply, but this girl had Auburn hair with green eyes and small tattoos on her hands. With a roll of my eyes I begin putting my stuff in my bag to leave. Until a hand grabbed my wrist to stop me. I tightened my fist as I followed the arm up to meet her grey gaze. Her black hair and grey eyes watching me, studying me. "Who. Are. You?" I watch her for a moment before yanking my hand from her grip and standing up from my seat. "Loretta. You can call me Loretta." I can't say my name is Dominic because that's what I get called in the ring. Her grey eyes seemed to shine for a moment before she went to say something else. Not caring to hear anymore, I turn on my heel and walk out of the cafeteria. I put my earbuds back in and walk towards the staircase for the roof. Another one of my few escape places here. As I climb the stairs I look back and think I see a shadow move, ignoring it I just continue walking upwards. Once exiting the door I walk to the edge of the roof, resting my palms on the concrete wall and closing my eyes. Breathing in the fresh air and I feel my body relax into the breeze. Suddenly I feel two arms wrap themselves around my waist and pulling themselves for their chest to touch my back. "Hmm...Loretta right? Aren't you going to ask who we are?" Her voice rings throughout my ears. "Why bother asking when I don't care?" I growl slightly before stomping on her foot, grabbing her wrists, and using the back of my head to headbutt her. I hear a slight groan before moving away from her and putting my head down. "Playing hard to get I see...interesting" I roll my eyes as I see her shadow moving towards me. "Do you ever give up?" I hear her make a sound of disapproval before I feel hands on my waist again, slowly pushing me backwards. I can't move to much or else she will see my face under the hood. After a moment I feel my back come in contact with the door entrance. "I don't think you'd want me to after a while...you'll grow to love it and not want me to stop..." I hear her whispering close to my ear. "Get your filthy hands off of me." I growled out, almost tempted to beat the living crap out of her. When she made no movements to move I brought my hand up to collide with her jaw. "I warned you." I aimed to kick her stomach but she grabbed my ankle and pushed me back against the wall. Bringing my elbows down on her shoulder, she released me and chuckled. I could already see a bruise forming over her eye. "Hard to get...I'll get through that tough exterior act Loretta." With that she turned on her heels and walked away now that I'm no longer on the door.
