As I drove off I look at Annayees, she’s still piss. I would be too if my dad spend my money. She surprised me with that mean right blow she gave her dad. I reached over and grabbed her hand, hopefully I can calm her down. Just touching her makes me want her right now, almost tempted to pull over to have her. She looks over to my direction and smiles, she’s calming down.

“Thank you” she tells me, smiling.

“For what?” I ask her

“For calming me down, I am sorry I brought you to see my drama” she gives me a look like she is ashamed of herself.

“Baby, don’t ever apologize for something your dad did. You’re right he doesn’t deserve you.” I reach her hand I am holding towards my lips and gave it a kiss.

“Now can we go somewhere to talk?” I ask her still driving around town.

“Yeah we can go to this cute little park down town” she tells me, instead of putting in the directions she just told me where to turn. As we pull up to this park she mentioned, it has a big water fountain in the middle of the park. It looks romantic. As we get out of the car and walk up to the fountain, I hold her hand on the way there. I wish I can tell her everything, that she is a witch and I am a wolf and we are fated mates. I don’t want to scare her off, I’ll wait for the right moment. As we walk in silence I can tell she is still mad about her dad, I want to be able make her happy.

“Are you O.K.? Did I freak you out when I punched my dad? I promise I don’t normally punch people, actually that’s the first time I ever laid hands on my dad” could she tell my mind was else where?

“No babe, I was actually proud of you. I can see you can take care of yourself, but you have me now. I will fight your battles, I am here to protect you.” She doesn’t have to get her hands dirty anymore, I am here to fight for her.

“Thanks but I rather not have anyone fighting my battles, but if you insist on protecting me. Than you can fight next to me.” She’s such a fighter, her ancestors must be Warriors. I heard of this clan of witches and warlocks being frontline warriors. They were the best and strongest fighters, but they have disappeared years ago. Her mother must have been from that clan.

“I’ll be happy to fight next to you” I tell her with the biggest smile ever.

“I have to tell you something and it’s hard for me to tell you” I told her, I have to leave town because I got a lead of Alexis Black whereabouts.

“What is it?, is everything O.K.?” She ask me.

“I have to go back home for a bit and do some work. It’s killing me to even telling you I am leaving you for a bit” it hurts I don’t ever want to leave her side especially when she is in danger.

“Oh, I figured you be going home soon. It was fun while it lasted” is she thinking I am leaving her for good?

“Why you saying it like that? I promise I will be back! I will never leave you, I’ll be back in less than a week.” I do not want her to think that I am not coming back.

“I have a important question for you” I hope my question won’t scare her off.

“What’s that?” She asked not even looking at me, she looks sad. I don’t want her sad.

“When I get back to town, I want you to come home with me” she looks shocked, I know she’s probably thinking I am a psycho by asking her to move in after knowing each other for a couple of weeks. But I know she feels our bond, I just know she will say yes.

“Look you don’t have to give me the answer right now, but I know you feel the same way I feel. I feel like I have known you all my life, and I know I will make you happy for the rest of your life.” She looks at me with the warmest smile.

“ Let me think about it and I’ll let you know when you get back” I didn’t scare her off. I grabbed her by her chin and reached down to give her a kiss. She kissed me back, she deepened the kiss. She pulled me even closer, she is making me hot. She about to feel a surprise if she doesn’t stop. She parted her lips a little, basically inviting my tongue in. So I gave her what she ask for, our bodies grinding each other. If we don’t stop now, I will make her mine here. I slowly reached my hands down to her butt and gently squeezed, that just made her move even quicker.

“Babe, if we don’t stop now I’ll have you here.” I managed to tell her while still making out. After a few seconds she finally broke the kiss.

“Well we don’t want that do we, plus it’s a little chilly tonight.” She breathing heavy from our make out session. I need to catch my breath myself, and come down my wolf. He didn’t like that I stopped it, well she stopped it. I am still holding on to her, as I look down on her I can sense her powers getting stronger. I might have to tell her about her mother truth sooner than I thought. Not right now, but soon.

“Now, do you want me to take you home? Or would you like to stay with me at my hotel room?” I hope she goes with me, my wolf loves that idea.

“Um aren’t you leaving tomorrow?” She ask me

“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean you can’t stay there” I would love to spend all night with her before I go.

“You can drop me off at Jessica’s house, I don’t think I am stable enough to stay with you for the night.” I guess she’s right, it will only make it harder for me to leave.

“O.K. babe, I’ll take you there. Come on, can I take you out for coffee before dropping you off?” I don’t want to let her go yet, knowing that I won’t see her for a week is breaking my heart.

“Yes, coffee will be nice. There is a cute little coffee shop a block down we can go. Second best coffee in town.” She pointed down the block

“Would you like to walk or drive down there? It’s only a block down. I wrapped my arms around her leading her to the car.

“We can walk” good more time with her

“Let go gorgeous.”I kiss her on the forehead and we walked down the block to the coffee shop. We walk up to the counter.

“What would you like babe?” I reach over to grab her hand so I can pull her closer to me.

“I’ll take a dark roast with French vanilla swirl and a shot of caramel flavor please” she tells the barista.

“I’ll have dark roast with cream and a shot of caramel” I look over to her, to see her staring at me. I smile at her, I know what she is thinking. We basically have the same taste in coffee.

As we get our coffee, we went to sit down.

“So what type of business do you do?” She ask me.

“I am in the shipping industry, my company ships anything over seas across country. You name a place we will ship it.” My company is second best in the shipping industry, but soon we’ll be number one.

B“Oh I see, is that what you always wanted to do when you were a kid?” She ask me before she took a drink of her coffee.

“No actually I wanted to be a wrestler when I was a kid. It’s a family business, I would of been force to work for the company. So I had no choice.” My mom forced me to take over the company, well take over half the company.

“How about you gorgeous? What did you really want to be when you grew up?” I want to know her dreams her goals. I want to make sure she gets everything she wants.

“Actually I wanted to study art, I always was into it. Just my dad never let me take any art classes, he told me men want smart women not some dumb girl that paints. After my mom passed I never picked up a paint brush again.” I will make your dreams come true Annayees, we just need to take care of Alexis Black first.

“I think artists are a lot smarter than most people, I will still drool over you if you were a art student.” We continue talking for a bit, I’ve learned a lot more about her life with her dad. I don’t understand how a man can do that to his own child, his own wife the woman he promised to protect and value...

Annayees smiled at me and looked down at her phone and look back up to me.

“Jessica is home from work now, when ever you’re ready to drop me off.” Ouch that hurt, I know she’s still mad about me leaving. She loves me, just the thought of that made my wolf jump with joy.

“Mad at me for leaving for a few days? I told you I will be back and I am coming back for you!” I told her and leaned closer to her.

“Me be mad at you? Why would I be mad, you have to work. You have to go back home.” There is a little attitude in her voice right now. I laughed and shook my head.

“Come on lets go” we both got up from our chairs and I wrap my arm around her waist and we walked out together. I don’t want to let her go, is only going to be for a few days. My wolf doesn’t want to let her go. We walk up the block to my car, I open the passenger door for her and helped her in. I got in and start the car.

“What’s the long way to Jessicas house?” I turn to her and asked her. She smiled at me and put in the directions, I have fifteen minutes with her. I reached over to hold her hand.

“Say if I said yes hypothetically, would your family be O.K. with it? Is she saying yes, she just made my heart race. Is this her way saying she is going to say yes? I gave her the happiest smile.

“My family will love you, I know they will” she smiled and looked out the window, but before she turned the street light hit her face at perfect timing to see her face get red. Made my heart jump with joy, I want to take her away from this human city. She belongs in the supernatural world.

I gently stroke her hand with my thumb, I wish I can take her home now.

“I want you to promise me something... promise me you won’t put yourself in any danger while I am gone” I want to make sure she stays safe. She turns to me.

“I can handle myself, but I promise I will try my best. I do like to do some dare devil things.” I smiled at her

“O.K. Thank you” I winked at her. As we pull up to her friends house I hear her sigh.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“This is goodbye huh?” Broke my heart.

“No gorgeous, it’s not goodbye is see you later. I promise you I’ll be back for you.” I know I am just breaking her heart by leaving her for a few days.

“I know you’ll be back, it just hurts that I only had a couple of weeks with you.” She looks down to her hands. I reached over to grab her hands and squeezed them.

“Baby it’s killing me to leave you here alone, I can’t protect you when I am hours away. Just know I will always make sure you are protected even if I am not with you!” I smiled at her but I know she can see the pain in my eyes. It’s my wolf that will die if he’s not near her.

“I believe you, it’s getting late I should get inside” she smiled at me and looked down again, I am failing to make her happy. I wish I can tell her I am going to find that bastard Alexis Black who killed her mother, I have a lead. I have to get him before he gets her. I opened my door and got out the car and went around to open her door, I helped her out and closed the door behind her. I lead her up to her friends door and turned to look at her, I hugged her tight. She tense up a little and then relaxed, that’s when she wrapped her arms around me. I put my chin on top of her head, and whispered to her.

“I wish I can tell you how I feel, but I do not want to scare you off. But know this, I will never leave you.” She broke our hug and looked up at me, she leaned in and so did I and kissed her. This kiss was different, it was deep and sensual our feelings is in this kiss. We’re showing our love for each other with this kiss. My wolf wants more, a lot more. In time we’ll own her completely, she’s my mate. Mine.

“I should get inside” she whispered slightly breaking the kiss. I gave her a last kiss and then one on her forehead.

“I’ll call you in the morning before I leave town, I’ll be back for you in a few days.” I gave her a last hug, let her walk up to the door.

“You better come back” she told me before turning around and went inside. I promise... I turned around and got into my car and drove off. I reached for my phone and called my brother Luca.

“ What’s up bro?” Luca picked up after the first ring.

“ I need you to come and protect Annayees while I am away. But she can’t know you’re there, I’ll send you directions and everything.” I know my brother will protect her with his life, I just don’t want her piss off at me for having someone babysit her.

“ On it, on my way there now!” I thanked him and hanged up. My wolf hates me right now for leaving Annayees, but I have to do it...
